Frequently Asked Questions
How do I delete a mistake?
Open Mistakes, select the mistake you want to remove, tap the trash icon, and confirm Delete. This removes the mistake record and its review history from Redo’s local database. Redo also attempts to remove its local image copy. It does not delete the original image from your photo library.
Where is my study data stored?
Your mistake records and review history are stored in Redo’s local database, and cropped copies of question images are stored in Redo’s app storage on your device. An unused image copy may remain if you leave capture before saving, replace an image, or a save fails. The image picker and cropper may also create temporary files that the operating system clears on its own schedule. Redo does not upload your questions or question images to Redo servers. Depending on your device settings, local app data may be included in backups managed by iOS or Android.
How do review reminders work?
New mistakes are first scheduled for review in 3 days. If you mark one correct, Redo schedules it again in 14 days; a second correct review marks it as mastered. An incorrect review schedules it again in 3 days. If you enable reminders and grant notification permission, Redo schedules local, once-per-day reminders for due mistakes at your chosen time, looking ahead up to 30 days. Today’s reminder is skipped if the selected time has already passed.
